I was a very good friend of DAVID COLLINGHAM K3LP who is now SK. He was my Elmar in ham radio. My first CQWW contest was with David in 1996 here at my house. From then on he had held my hands throughout my radio life. He died on 5th January 2018 trying to save his dog which went through ice in his back yard. I’m having a one-man event every year from 2018 in memory of David – this year the event is from 1-5 January. I would like to spread this message worldwide so this special event will be a good one.
