YB Land DX Club DX-ing Is Our Life
Have you seen your amateur radio friends before? or you just met him or her during contest? or while you are CQ-ing in the early morning? Someone was drop by on your frequency and you both are talking each other. It is hardly can say if your fellow HAM are staying far away from your QTH even overseas. But it just a piece of cake when your friends lived nearby ..
Meet n Greet with other amateur radio friends as you well known as an Eyeball QSO is always a fascinating pleasure. Well, you know for sure that my country is a huge nation and have so many islands from Sabang island to Merauke, Papua, mostly chased by our thrilling IOTA friends. No wonder, a chance to meet my fellow amateur radio from other part of Indonesia territory is a rarely difficult.
Cibubur DX Gathering 2014 @YB1FWO Residence – mostly Indonesia/YB’s DXer were attending this gathering couple years ago. Informal gathering was appreciated and more simple organized by only few persons through social media application, hi hi.
Many friends were also lived separately, far away in other islands or country and it always a nice thing to hear and read about their news. Are they fine and healthy? Why were some guys was not hear on the bands and few other questions. Recently, we could connected each other with superior modern technology social media application such as whats app, facebook, twitter, path, instagram and so on.
It was a great opportunity to meet and greet as commonly meet each other on the air while some of us were taking apart of DX Contest or casual DX-ing ..but not every one was so pleased to ragchewing even a minute while contesting. So of course, more relax and comfort to say, the gathering event like above become a excellent sample for the future plan.
