To Upload Logs To Logbook of The World
If you need assistance with HRD please visit the HRD web pages http://www.ham-radio-deluxe.com/
or the users group forum.
• Ham Radio Deluxe is a popular logging program.
• One of the features of HRD v5 is the ability to upload QSOs directly to your Logbook of The
World account.
• This tutorial will enable you to enter the required information to take advantage of this feature.
• Ham Radio Deluxe is  NOT  an ARRL program therefore we can not offer any support for this software package.
• If you contact ARRL about this software you will be directed to the Ham Radio Deluxe website.
Open the HRD Logbook.
From the main HRD screen select the LOGBOOK tab then select DISPLAY.
Note: Until you highlight a QSO to upload the LoTW upload option will not be made available.
Highlight the QSOs you wish to upload.
Tip: To select a large number of QSOs for uploading left click your mouse on the first QSO in the list. Then hold down your SHIFT key and scroll down to the last QSO in the list. While holding your SHIFT key left click on the last QSO and you should have highlighted everything from first to last.
Configure the upload URLs

The login and upload URLs should be pre-populated.
Enter your username and password

Your LoTW user name and password are located in the e-mail which contained your TQ6 file.
Select the TQSL.exe path

Use the ellipses to select the path to the TQSL executable file. Note: You must select TQSL.exe – NOT TQSL CERT.
The default path is C:Program FilesTrustedQSLtqsl.exe
For Windows 7 and Vista 64 bit OS the path is: C:Program Files (x86)TrustedQSLtqsl.exe
Enter your private key password

This is the password that you created when requesting your certificate. This step was optional and you may have not elected to use a password.
If this is the case then leave this box empty.
*We cannot assist you if you do not recall your private key password.
You will have to get a new certificate. See  www.arrl.org/fixcert
Enter your TQSL station location

Enter your station location from the TQSL program.
NOTE: this is case sensitive. The location must be entered exactly as you named it in the TQSL program.
In this example the location name is N1ZQ Hartford as it is shown
It is not N1ZQ – N1ZQ Hartford
The call sign associated with the location is to the left of the hyphen. The location name is to the right of the hyphen.
About TQSL station locations
•   Your TQSL station location provides the geographic information about your operation.
•   You may have as many station locations as necessary to accommodate your operating. Notice in this screenshot KD3AQ has a location for Bucks County and another for Philadelphia.
•   Be sure to select the correct station locataion because this is how other operators receive credit for QSOs with you.
•   For information about creating station locations in TQSL see www.arrl.org/instructions Instruction #5
Upload your QSOs

The status bar will turn green when complete.
