FOREWORD

THE INDONESIAN ISLANDS HUNTER GROUPS (IIHG) consists of DXers who are interested in making contacts with amateur radio operators in different islands of Indonesia.
Membership of IIHG is free and is open to all interested amateur radio operators and SWL worldwide. There is no special requirements.
IIHG sponsors several special and attractive operating awards.

The main award is the NUSANTARA AWARD
The main goal of this award is to encourage amateur radio activities from as many different islands as possible in the vast archipelago of Indonesia.

RULE & APPLICATION
Nusantara Award

General Rules : 
1. Nusantara Award will be issued to licensed amateurs and SWL around the world for all for all 2 way contacts on HF bands (160m – 10m) including WARC bands. Contacts made after August 17, 1945 count for this award. 
Repeater, satellite, eQSO, Echolink or other relay methods are NOT permitted.
2.a. Basic award is issued for contacting 10 different islands which must include a minimum of 5 out of 6 main islands of Jawa / Java, Sumatera / Sumatra, Kalimantan / Borneo, Sulawesi / Celebes, Irian / Papua, and Bali. 
2.b. Endorsement sticker will be issued in increments of 10 for additional islands worked.
3. All islands claimed for the award must appear on a map and has a name.
4. QSL card must have printed name of the island from which the operation took place. For major or large islands, the name of a town or city on the island, or grid locator maybe sufficient. Please contact award manager when in doubt. 
4.a. Please note that not all islands in this program have an IOTA Reference Number. Small islands, individual coastal islands, island in bay, in lake, in river and in estuary or which cannot be classified in IOTA Program might be still accepted for this award. 
4.b. Group of islands with the same IOTA reference count for separate islands for this award, e.g. Bangka and Belitung are two separate islands for this award (OC-144)
5. Claim must be accompanied by QSL card list (GCR) furnished with the call signs of stations worked, dates, times, bands, modes and island name. Alternatively a list of stations worked with a copy of the QSL cards can be used as well. Applicants using e-mail, may attach the list and scans of the QSL cards. All QSL cards must be in possession and must be produced upon request for inspection.
Application :
1. For DX station, the fee is 8 IRC, or 6 USD, or 5 Euros, for basic award. Endorsement fee is 1 IRC or 1 USD, or 1 Euro regardless of the level claimed. The fee covers the award and postage.
2. There is no fee for handicapped operators or SWL

Nusantara Award
Aturan Umum : 
1. Nusantara Award diberikan kepada Amatir Radio dan SWL di seluruh dunia untuk komunikasi di band HF (160m – 10m) termasuk WARC. Hanya kontak setelah tanggal 17 Agustus 1945 yang bisa digunakan untuk pengajuan award ini.
Repeater, satellite, eQSO, Echolink ataupun metode relay lainnya TIDAK diperbolehkan.
2.a. Basic award diterbitkan berdasarkan komunikasi dengan 10 pulau dan harus menyertakan minimal 5 dari 6 pulau utama yaitu Jawa / Java, Sumatera / Sumatra, Kalimantan / Borneo, Sulawesi / Celebes, Irian / Papua dan Bali.
2.b. Tambahan endorsement sticker untuk kenaikan tiap 10 pulau.
3. Pulau yang diajukan harus ada di peta dan mempunyai nama.
4. QSL card harus mencantumkan nama pulau yang diaktivkan. Sebagai pengganti nama pulau, nama kota atau kabupaten di pulau tersebut, atau grid locator juga bisa dipergunakan. Hubungi award manager untuk informasi lebih lanjut.
4.a. Harap dicatat bahwa tidak semua pulau memiliki Nomor Referensi IOTA. Pulau kecil, pulau pesisir, pulau di dalam teluk, di danau, di sungai dan di muara yang tidak dapat diklasifikasikan dalam program IOTA masih bisa diterima untuk award ini.
4.b. Pulau-pulau yang berada di group / kepulauan dengan nomor referensi IOTA yang sama dihitung sebagai pulau yang berbeda untuk award ini. Contoh: Pulau Bangka dan Pulau Belitung adalah dua pulau berbeda untuk award ini, meskipun mempunyai nomor IOTA yang sama OC-144.
5. Pengajuan award harus melampirkan daftar QSL Card (GCR) berisi callsigns, tanggal, waktu, band, mode dan nama pulau. Atau, bisa juga melampirkan fotokopi QSL card saat pengajuan. Pengajuan award bisa juga menggunakan e-mail dengan mengirimkan daftar QSL Card dan melampirkan hasil scan QSL card. QSL Card yang asli harus ada dan dapat segera ditunjukkan jika diminta untuk pemeriksaan.
Pengajuan Award : 
1. Untuk Amatir Radio dan SWL di Indonesia, biaya award digratiskan. Pemohon diharapkan melampirkan perangko balasan Rp 7,500 untuk biaya pengiriman.
2. Bagi penyandang cacat, selain biaya award yang gratis, juga tidak diwajibkan untuk mengirimkan perangko balasan.
